the area is very sad to the end of the Coca Cola plant on Overlea but thing have a reason for happening.. Soon Costco will be building a new store and Gas bar. They will hire people from the area and will attract people from other area to shop in many of the other stores and restaurants around it. From a race tract in the early part of the last century to one of the safest multi cultured areas of Toronto.

I truly regret buying here NO SOUNDPROOFING Eden Oak (the builder) should be ashamed of themselves, them and the original owner who didn't declare the lack of soundproofing, and resulting lack of the privacy I called the slum builder to complain and they don't care, they had a century21 agent respond back and of course he couldn't care less, telling me it pass inspection (really neighbours clearly hearing each other whisper & go to the bathroom is according to code?) and if I want soundproof I would have to pay for it out of my own pocket! I will NEVER use Eden Oak or purchase a home built by them and; I will NEVER use Century21 agents for ANY real estate transactions

Remember when it was the Powers Supermarket and the kids--me too- would line up with their wagons on the side and wheeled groceries home for shoppers coming out of store? Think we usually got a dime or a quarter. BIG tippers gave 50 cents!

WORST BUILDING EVER - Completely infested with cockroaches...i used to lay traps to have "evidence" for management and the sticky traps would fill up in less than a few nights...it was awful...on the walls, in the washrooms, in the elevators and hallways...EVEN IN THE BEDDING....it was disgusting...i had to stop living there...while I fought to get out of my lease...and we were CLEAN people but the unit came infested....management never gave a shit about anything, and I have nightmares to this day, of the bugs, the filth, the terrible uncivilized neighbours and busted car garages...it looks like a great building and the high rent would make you think it is...but this building has been in this neighbourhood for a long time, and is just masking the reality...it is old, dirty, poorly managed, and again - COMPLETELY INFESTED

Brothers and Sisters In Christ, Peace be with you. Please include our country Philippines in your prayer meetings especially our brothers and sisters who were hardly hit by typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) last Nov. 18, 2013. We were very unfortunate of things that is happening in our country but very much fortunate and thankful for the United Nations (Canada,USA,UK,Esrael, China, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Asean Nations and others) who were there to rescue and give support for our immediate recovery. The Lord will surely give them their rewards. We are indeed very thankful to these people though we knew that most of them are not Christians. They gave their lives so as other may live. Our sincere thanks to you ALL. In Christ, Miguel A. Simborio miguelsimborio@yahoo.com celphone no. 639283972551
