Dominion's is gone and replaced by Metro. There has been a lot of turnover in the stores.

I live in this building. After looking at some others on Goldfinch and surrounding areas, this place is well cared for. The others were dumps. The pool is only open July & August and not the long weekend in September. It is also not heated, but it is supervised. The halls need some attention but the units are large and well layed out. No problems on my floor. I would recommend this building

The very first No Frills grocery store, re-opened as such (from Loblaws) in 1978. Still the only No Frills in the former Borough of East York.

There used to be an actual Loblaws store in the building housing the company's HQ, though it's called "St. Clair Market" now.

My father used to work here in the late '80s and early '90s; in fact, that's part of why he decided to move to the neighbourhood I'm from (hence my username). Trivia: there was originally an entrance to this cemetery off of Danforth Road. Go to the NW corner of Kennedy and St. Clair and notice the orientation of the entrance there; it's at a diagonal that would proceed straight to Danforth.

In addition to housing the subway station, this building is also home to the pro shop of Dentonia Golf Course to the north. Dentonia opened in 1967, Victoria Park station in '68.

My mistake... actually it only went as far south as York Mills (and Don Mills went only as far north as York Mills until the '60s). Both the 404/DVP from Eglinton to Steeles and the Woodbine Avenue further south are 6 km east of Yonge Street. There may have been plans to connect the two at one time...

I am trying to find out some information on the family that lived in this house during the late 1960's. does anyone have any information on this house or who owned it before the Scarborough Town Centre was built. We used to ride horses through this area and I spent many a cold winter afternoon having tea in the kitchen when this was a family home.
